Goals

Develop two streams for learning
Long term- basic to intermediate instruction for the aspiring artists within the radial community. Weekly or grouped sessions designed to bring a progressive level of proficiency in the art form of choice
Short Term Intensives – intermediate to master level and designed to enhance the learning curve in areas of specific skill development. Develop a master level experience for highly skilled artists through acquisition of world renowned mentors. These intensives will be designed to attract participants from a regional, provincial and national level. -
Provide a revenue positive income stream for the operational expenses of the hall.

The short term intensives .may culminate in a public performance, exhibition or reading.

To initially develop the programming for the Summer and Fall but in the long term to explore the programming potential over a twelve month period.

To capitalize on local skills and human resources to develop and deliver the long term educational stream.

To ultimately provide artistic leadership to direct the programming of the Cultural Campus.

To partner with other arts organizations in the region . e.g. Elisabeth Bishop house, Tatmagouche centre.
