The Band Hall – 44 King St Parrsboro
This great Blue Grass band from Montreal is stopping at the hall for a one night performance in transit to the Folk Harbour Festival in Lunenburg. “When long time friend and supporter of the hall project Greg Simm, suggested we host Notre Dame de Grass he made a point of telling us just how fantastic these guys are and how important they are to the national blue grass scene. As many folks here know Greg is a significant voice in Celtic and country music in the Maritimes so with such a reference it made sense to our board to make this happen since country and blue grass is such a popular music form here.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for students and they are available at Advocate Community Store, Shaw Country Market, Home Hardware and Mo’s of Five Islands. Of course you can call our box office at 254-3764 as well to make reservations.
