The Association is pleased to host the Annual General Meeting of the Nova Scotia Heritage Trust which will be held at the Hall beginning Friday May 30 and ending on Sunday June 1. We are very proud to have secured such a prestigious event which certainly reflects our ongoing collaborative commitment with the Trust in our endeavor to restore and reuse the hall as Culture and Lifestyle Centre for our region of Nova Scotia. The NSHT has been instrumental in our development thus far by endorsing our project and by supporting us financially through a donation targeted for developing community use; specifically for equipment for our Film Society component and the creation of a promotional dvd to be used in promoting our cause.
The NSHT will be hosting a meet and greet and dvd launch at 2pm on Saturday, May31. Everyone is invited to attend and meet the good folks from NSHT.
